A NIGHT WITH VIC THRILL
![]() |
NYC musician/artist/entertainer/conceptualist Billy Campion, aka Vic Thrill, treats his audience to a night filled with musical adventure & other wondrous experiences from the mad, mad world of this multimedia wunderkind. From his legendary Vic Thrill Salon in Williamsburg (which has led to a movie deal with Paramount Pictures & a book deal with Random House), to his past as front man of major label rock group The Bogmen, & future as the front man of the electro-punk outfit, Vic Thrill & the Saturn Missile, Mr. Campion mines the rich & ragged landscape of his personal & professional life, one both filled & fraught with mesmerizing, side-splitting, & heartbreaking stories, philosophical ruminations, original songs, & spectacular visions. Come laugh, cry, dance, & get your socks rocked off. And don’t forget your bluetooth device! The latest music video for Vic Thrill & the Saturn Missile, Hi on Wade, shot entirely by fans on their cell phones & digital cameras, was featured this summer on the front page of Youtube.com, with over 150,000 views & counting, & was the lead story in a recent feature on digital media & music in the New York Times. He has also collaborated on documentary films with director/videographer Chris Cassidy & will be screening the trailer from the ‘prostitute beauty pageant’ Entertaining Chaos, plus the controversial short film Painting at the Break of Day, a completely unintentional yet strikingly resonant preamble to 9.11, filmed in the weeks leading up to the tragic event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5qHemVYYRk |
