The Situation was formed in 1998 with Buddy Greco & two friends, to record a debut cd. Since that time, Iovanna Medina & Micky Bliss have replaced the two original members. The Situation has played most of the major clubs in the NYC metro area & recorded 2 well received independent cds. They have also received airplay on radio stations WLIR, WBAB, & WFUV as well as appearing on local cable television program C.H.E.E.R. 2002 & the national program LT1 in February '03. In 2004, they were rewarded with a record contract with USA Music Group who released their debut cd Another Situation. In 2005, the group appeared in the independent film Be a Winner, performing 2 songs. In 2007, The Situation continues to play in the metro area, & is currently recording a follow-up cd to Another Situation. With a strong local fan base, well crafted songs, top notch musicianship, & Iovanna's unique voice, great times are ahead for The Situation.
