The Sharp Things are, in their true form, a sprawling orchestral masterpiece of flesh, wood, ivory and brass creating a din not often heard in these parts (meaning downtown). the fun is lead by one perry serpa, pianist, song guy and singer, who attempts to channel all his heroes, from bacharach to newman to scott walker, but manages to create a sound that belongs solely to the band. The Big Takeover has said "delightful! charming! splendid!" of their latest bar/none release, "foxes & hounds" and these days, you might even catch a rock star or two in the room to see em.
