Juggs is a psychadelic blues rock band composed of members of Apollo Heights, Antibalas, and Chin Chin. Juggs is a four piece - two guitars, bass, and drums. fronted by Kareem Lamar (ex Pleasure Unit, Shiner Massive, MOP). The band formed this summer to do one show for a friend's event but decided to stick with it.

Nutria's style can be described as Chilean Folk Rock from Brooklyn. They sing in Spanish & English & usually mix their music with poetry. Inspired by poets such as Pablo Neruda, Federico Garcia-Lorca, & Walt Whitman, & by artists like Victor Jara & Leonard Cohen, Nutria is forging their own voice & sound. In the last year they have focused on promoting their first CD, Roquerio which has won good reviews in the Chilean press. Recent highlights include their appearance in the musical video Homeless lamp by Ivan Navarro -which was acquired by the Saatchi Collection, London, & the Fundacion Arco, Madrid, a concert at Exit Art, NYC, sharing the stage with fellow Brooklynites Au Revoir Simone, & a second music video with Navarro in which Nutria covers the classic Latin ballad No soy de aqui & which was positively reviewed: '([Nutria gives] an almost exquisite poignancy to the lyrics' -Roberta Smith, Art in Review, NY Times.
