Now New Yorkers who always dreamed of going on The Price is Right, but never had the money to go to LA or the willingness to wake up at 2am to stand in line, can live their dream on the brand new Lower East Side Price is Wrong! Host, Reverend Jen, & her bevy of 'beauties' will make the dream happen for the lucky few who make it to contestant’s row.
Smart shoppers will compete for fabulous prizes during this action-packed live game show. Think you know the price of a 24-ounce Budweiser (purchased at the bodega on Ludlow & Delancey) or the going rate of a vibrating butt plug? What about a 6-pack of expired Little Debbie snack cakes? A three-pack of irregular tube socks? Among the games are: Walk Up like the better known Cliff Hangers but with a hipster who contestants must keep from falling off the walk-up; High-Low, a pricing game devoted to products related to marijuana consumption; and of course Drinko played like Plinko but instead of 50,000-dollars worth of prize money, contestants can walk away with drinks!
And let’s not forget about the cutthroat Showcase Showdowns where lucky contestants might win brand new living room sets (found on the street) or even new vehicles (skateboards!) Anyone can become a contestant just by showing up, but remember, the more enthusiastic the better! And a wacky t-shirt never hurt.
