After 8 years of touring & co-fronting the Connecticut based band Sunflower, PJ Pacifico, makes his solo debut with the release of Well I'll Be on Viper Records. PJ has been singing since the age of six. He started playing drums at twelve, & picked up guitar in college. 'Writing songs & performing is my real passion,' says PJ, who wrote almost all of the songs on Sunflower's two albums, & everything on his own debut. PJ's musical influences are vast. He couldn't help hearing harmony, as his mother held her barbershop quartet rehearsals in their kitchen. His aunt introduced him to James Taylor & Simon & Garfunkel, & he found The Police, U2, & REM on his own. PJ's sound has been described as 'a jam session between James Taylor, Matthew Sweet, & Jason Mraz.' PJ has shared the stage with Little Feat, Joe Jackson, & Guster. He has performed at the legendary Capital Theater, Toad's Place, CBGB's, & numerous college & acoustic venues. He makes an incredible chicken teriyaki stir-fry, but refuses to give out the recipe. Also, he has been honored to sing our National Anthem at Madison Square Garden multiple times. Eager to hit the road in support of his new album with songs about everything from love to surviving cancer, PJ will be making stops in Nashville, Chicago, & Atlanta, to name a few.
