MAIN SQUEEZE ORCHESTRA
Valentine's Day Concert
Love, Love, Love
No one knows romance like an accordionist. It's because accordionists specialize
in love (bet you didn't know this). The very instrument itself is held right
over the heart. You have to hug it to play it. And if it's done right, you cry.
And if it's done wrong, you cry. Let 14 accordionists and Walter tell you all
they know about hearts, broken and otherwise, in a night of all-accordion, all
love songs (everything from Kurt Weill to Joy Division to Louis Armstrong to
Bach) on the most romantic stage in the East Village. We're not ruling out spontaneous
combustion and we're considering a guarantee for every lucky soul in attendance
getting some that night (from their dates). We're that good at setting the mood
to swoon.
