What
the press has been saying:
In other words, they're a damn fine band and worthy of a trip to Madame
JoJos tomorrow night. It's a strong claim to be 'London's Best Unsigned
Band', but for now at least, we're not arguing with them.
'And sharing the top spot is Last Man Standing, the blatantly avante garde
nine piece ensemble performing a dirty, bluesy, drunken sound with influences
stretching from Zappa to Zapatita.'' - Lost Vagueness
Mingling blues, country and rock has often suffered a similar fate to
wearing red, green and blue as a fashion statement. However, the trend
was bucked in the opening material proffered by the versatile support
act Last Man Standing, who produced Neil Young flirting with Jesus and
Mary Chain and Whiskeytown offerings with increasing doses of Led Zeppelin
emerging later on. The standout the ballad; 'Waiting So Long' set a thoughtful
yet spirited mood for the evening. -From ALLGIGS.CO.UK, August 16,
