Beginning
in 1995, Julian Rai has been working steadily as a songwriter and performer,
opening in major venues for other popular performers and silencing crowded
houses in many other venues spanning five states and literally hundreds
of live performances.
After many demo tapes, promo CDs, instrumental releases and EPs, Julian
recently released another EP to preface his first debut, "New York
State", scheduled for release in 2006. Julian is currently working
on this album project and living in New York City. Julian's rich, soulful
voice, memorable and nostalgic songwriting, punctuated guitar style and
a slight tendency to get out of hand at times makes any performance a
live one.
