JON BRAMAN & SHOCKWAVE
JEFF PERLMAN'S KLEZMER JAMBOREE

Jon Braman found his ukulele in a garbage can and started rapping because he needed some serious music for serious times. Recently dubbed the "Father of ukulele-hip-hop," by the Washington Citypaper, Braman has forged a unique style that backs up socially-conscious rhymes and melodies with funky beats strummed on a baritone ukulele. He is often accompanied by his wife, Lisette, who sings like a mermaid, and will be joined at Mo's by Shockwave, NY beat-boxing phenomenon and member of the Freestyle Love Supreme.
