Hurley has just returned from London where his CD single Bleeding Claret & Blue about West Ham Football Club was released in May. This show will be his first NYC appearance since his Bowery Ballroom show on St Pat's day.
Village Voice wrote that 'Hurley is the best singer of vowels in rock since Shane MacGowan,& he's got fire behind those puppy eyes,' calling him 'one of New York's most entertaining frontmen-his distinctive vocals can be raucous as all get-out and as sorrowful as a baritone can be'
For tonight's gig, he will be joined by Chris Flynn, James Mastro, &other special guests, & will be playing a selection of songs from his forthcoming Solo CD as well as old Rogue's March favourites.
