After more than a five year hiatus, Howard Fishman and members of his original QUARTET (Russell Farhang on violin, Andrew Hall on bass and legendary cornetist Peter Ecklund) recently reunited for a one-night only concert to celebrate the release of "The Howard Fishman Quartet Vol. 2," a collection of previously unreleased material from band's Algonquin days.  The reunion was sold-out and the overwhelming response has led to this encore performance, by popular demand.  The The New York Times said that the group's music "transcends time and idiom."
