LA transplant Dan Zweben, gritty rock-inflected troubadour extraordinaire, and New York hometown sweetheart Michelle Albano, honey-throated soul-tinged songstress, join forces to tell stories about love, hope, and struggle. Their debut EP, slated for release in May 2006, is filled with can’t-get-them-out-of-your-head hooks and lush vocal harmonies. Already drawing comparisons to a modern day Fleetwood Mac, thoughtful collaboration between the two is apparent here as they share strengths and trade leads, coloring their compositions with a sound that is truly authentic and unique.
