Coolzey makes music by himself and with his friends. He makes hip hop music in his house and plays shows around the United States. He was in the Sucka MCs and is now solo, but still collaborates with the Suckas and others in the realm of hip hop. Coolzey also makes other music in bands such as The Rhombus, The Old Man, Grism, Nerd's Curve, and Rex Sharqi, but this site mainly deals with his hip hop endeavours. Schaffer the Darklord (or STD) is a New York City-based rapper and comedian. From his many years as a drummer in groups like San Francisco’s noise metal behemoths Burmese, STD harvests material best suited for a subversive rock-and-roll audience. Imagine a Frankenstein-esque monster assembled from equal parts Bill Hicks, Eminem, Prince, Rob Halford and Darth Vader...stitched together inside the shell of a jaded heavy metal ex-patriot, covering topics from Jesus zombies to post-apocalyptic clone sex. It is advised that you see his damned act before he is consumed by his own wickedness. |
