Clean & Nasty is Susan Hwang (piano/vocals), Bret Jergensen (drums/back-up
yelling) and Michael Gittleman (upright bass/back-up yelling) playing
songs about feeling bad, distractions, & sex, which is a good distraction
when you're feeling bad. So is ice cream.
Susan Hwang, has been singing in blues clubs since her DC days & has
been the only yellow member of gospel choirs since she was 13. After honing
her primal yelling in NYC rock band, Murderizer & squeezing like hell
with The Main Squeeze Orchestra, Susan now writes songs with Clean &
Nasty that incorporate her blues roots with some of her hard-earned heavy
rock edge as well as an unmistakable vulnerability & humor.
