Casey
Neill & the Norway Rats fuse modern rock with punk, Americana, and
Celtic styles. The Norway Rats are a ramshackle collection of Portland's
finest musos featuring vocals from chanteuse Little Sue and current and
ex members of the Decemberists and Eels. A new Casey Neill CD "Brooklyn
Bridge" is out May 1st 2007 on the In Music We Trust imprint. Casey
cut his teeth in the underground music community of the Pacific Northwest.
Maintaining an international touring and recording career, he has developed
a widespread fan-base throughout the US, Canada, Japan, and Britain. His
songs have garnered praise from radio and critics, as well as musical
luminaries Jello Biafra, Amy Ray, and Steve Earle. Casey has played stages
such as New York's Town Hall, San Francisco's Great American Music Hall,
and Glasgows Celtic Connections Festival.
