NYC's The Brilliant Mistakes have developed a devoted following with their bittersweet roots/rock and pop-soaked soul music. Performing Songwriter described the band's latest album, Dumb Luck, as “pure, rich, punchy pop in the tradition of Ray Davies and Squeeze.” The group has been featured on WFUV-NY's “City Folk Live” series, WXPN-PA's “World Café” and XM and Sirius Satellite Radio. The band is currently road-testing songs for their forthcoming third album.
